Dr. Aslam-Pervez is dually qualified, having completed his Dental training from the University of Glasgow and his Medical training from the University of Manchester. He has also completed a Masters (MSc) in Implantology at the University of Cardiff.

In the NHS, Dr. Aslam-Pervez work in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery providing services at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (Glasgow), Royal Blackburn Hospital, Royal Bolton Hospital and North Cumberland Infirmary. His work in these hospitals involves managing patients in Head and Neck Cancer, Deformity and Trauma.

Dr. Aslam-Pervez has gained several postgraduate qualifications and is committed to continual professional development. He has gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) from the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

Dr. Aslam-Pervez has also been involved with the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP) in Scotland, which involves teaching and preparing postgraduate dentists to sit the MJDF examination.
